France - Additional Information

This page contains the singles end of year charts, the combined sales and radio chart Top 30 information for France, the accreditation information, and some chart runs. The combined Top 30 information is from the book Hit Parades 1950 to 1998 by Daniel Lesueur. The book summarises the positions into Top 30's by month. 1976 singles: Fernando was number 9 for the year.
1976 singles: Dancing Queen was number 52 for the year.

1976 albums: Arrival was number 47 for the year.
1976 albums: Greatest Hits was number 63 for the year.

1977 singles: Money, Money, Money was number 22 for the year.
1977 singles: Knowing Me, Knowing You was number 52 for the year.
1977 singles: The Name of the Game was number 87 for the year.

1978 singles: Take A Chance On Me was number 42 for the year.

Key to Abbreviations:

Date: This is the month the single first appeared in the chart.
Title: The title of the single. If there are two titles listed on one line, that single was considered a double A side.
HP: The highest position the item reached in the monthly combined charts.
TI: This stands for "Times In" which is basically how many months the item spent on the charts.
